Hey random question. Does anyone own a medium to large (approx 15 by 15 inch or more) classic chess board? Not the fold away plastic travel type, or the ones that have modern or novelty pieces. Like a proper classic chess board? Got a photography concept that I've had on ice for a while but just needed a chess board to make it happen. Would only need it for like a weekend. Thanks

For a while I was having trouble showcasing my images on social media.
I didn't like the idea of just blindly posting my images to the timeline just for it to be swiped over and lost to the black hole of the algorithm. Posting also felt like it was cheapening what I had spent hours to produce.

The Viewer Vote is something I started back in December 2020.
I had spontaneously brought a large sized, 61x91cm frame with the intention of printing one of my images into it. The frame was slowly gathering dust as I couldn't settle on which image to place in it. This is when I got the initial idea to just ask people on Instagram which one they thought deserved the frame.
Once the winning image was decided, I would then go about getting the image printed, and once that would arrive I would go on to finally frame it.

The response from that first 'vote' was really positive. This motivated me to repeat it the following month but with a few adjustments.
Each month I now showcase five random images on my Instagram story, along with a poll for the viewer to vote on. After 24 hours the two winning images are announced.
A new addition to the Vote is the chance to win a signed A4 print. This is won by selecting the two images that then go on to win.
