Truth be told, my 53 year old joints have been feeling better these last couple weeks. No more pain lifting raising my right arm. Elbows don’t hurt nearly as much in plank position.
Interestingly enough, we started doing these LAVA exercises 2 weeks ago also.

It’s Monday!
Time to shake off the dust and get moving.
Move fast, move slow, do a little or a lot.
Do a BODi workout, do some yard work or just go for a walk.
It doesn’t matter what it is, just move.

Tough week physically, mentally and emotionally but we were just tad bit tougher. 🤏😮💨

Week 7 is in the history books.
This week’s focus was power and we pushed as hard as we could each day.
Whatever weight we started with 2 weeks ago, we increased by at least 5 lbs.
It definitely wasn’t pretty. Sometimes we finished the sets with the heavier weights. Sometimes we only hit a few reps before switching out to lower weights.
Sometimes we had to put on pause to catch a breath. 😂
The one thing that was pretty about this week was seeing all the check marks by the days we finished. ✅✅✅✅✅
Next week will be a bigger challenge with the Megathon !Let’s go week 8!!

1 week into and we are feeling awesome.
Workouts are 30-45 minutes long. We work hard but not so intense that we are keeling over begging to go to the ER. Okay, sometimes we post like we do but we’re just being dramatic. 😂

Perfect workout for the start of the year.
I do think there should be a surgeon general warning for 50 year old men attempting this exercise sequence - whew!!! 😂

Day 5 #645 Oh those 10’s got really heavy at the end of the round. I today switched out for 8’s for the rest of the block 😂
The second exercise in the video was a surprisingly cool exercise. Farmers March. Talk about a asymmetrical core abd grip burner! Who knew?!

I can honestly tell you that it...was...not. 🤪
