Home sweet homo.
Thank you . You have been a wonderful leader in this country for decades, and you have shown America how to lead with passion, intelligence, strength, and humor. You have shown America how to grow and evolve, and you never preyed on the weak or took anyone’s bu****it. You saved America from fascism once and because of you we will do it again. and aren’t going to stand a chance.
I know this is a personal and business page and I despise businesses being political…. But I’m a small tiny business. Every little political decision on trade has a major impact on me, disproportionate to big companies with their staff lawyers and accountants. I voted for Kamala in California and I will vote for her from Nee York for president. Fellow progressives get in line. Don’t fall into the trap of repeating Russian garbage, GOP talking points, and the negative nonsense the left has unfortunately so often fallen victim to. Kamala is a game changer, she WILL sign progressive legislation. Fight to give her a progressive congress and a senate. Let’s clean up this GOP mess we have been dealing with since Reagan. Madam President .
Wouldn’t you know it my dearest Kari’s memoir is on presale and you can get 25% off for a limited time! has an incredible story to tell and you betta listen! (Or read)
Yep, still thinking about the obscene wastefulness of this industry.
It’s been so busy I feel like I forgot about instagram. The world is terrible right now, so I thought I’d just post a little pop of color and nostalgia to cleanse the pallet. The other day I stumbled across these throwback moments from when and I collaborated on a futuristic Clubletic (or as Cherie would say, Houserobics!) line called the Thrills Collection. It was an amazing night with all our friends (and even family, with my dear cousins modeling for us!) and it truly was so wild showing during spring 2012 at the space.
Whenever I feel tired or down or like I haven’t done enough, I think about these moments and how rare it is to get the chance to experience them and I feel so eternally grateful to the universe for them. 🙏🏻
My parents sweet spoiled bratty dog Davenport (seen here in an outtake from his busy holiday schedule doing social media posts for ‘s ) has gone on to the big dog park in the sky. He was 14, but had the energy of a puppy who had dug through the trash of an amphetamine manufacturer.
Last time I was visiting Austin he somehow got on top of a bed 8X his height and onto the side table (9X), snuck away with my several hundred dollar nightguard, and proceeded to quietly destroy it while hiding under a table cross the house and ignoring our calls (Thinking he had escaped through the front yard somehow, we of course searched the neighborhood in the surrounding area). The little turd.
He was so damn cute, and he knew how to work it. He did tricks on his terms; meaning he sort of figured out how to do one combination of “jump over an umbrella and then roll over” but could not figure out how to do the two things separately.
Over the years he destroyed countless designer accessories, carried many a dead animal into the house, peed gleefully on anything/one/where he pleased and would get away fully by looking at you softly and sweetly.
Most importantly, he was my dad’s caretaker and buddy. Never leaving his side except for a warm nap in the sun on the back of the couch and a very important and fast patrol spin around the boarder of the backyard. There was no one more patient or more loving.
You see, we humans get tired and frustrated with our dementia-ridden parents. We get exhausted. Upset. And even angry.
Not Davenport. He loved my dad so much. Even more so when Dad forgot he had already fed him dinner, twice, and began to fill the third bowl that evening.
I hope food portions are unlimited in doggie heaven.
Davenport you weren’t the most well-behaved dog, but you were a very, VERY, good boy.

No Thanks!
It’s wild to me that this was almost a decade ago. Plotting the launch of with in downtown Los Angeles.
Somewhere in a California desert 5 years ago we demonstrated how light, dance, fashion, architecture, and film are all connected.
(Instagram is messed up and won’t let me tag everyone?)
Many years ago (like so long ago that phone cameras were absolutely terrible) invited me along with a group of truly beautiful people to go see on Broadway. I remember the show being this sort of powerful time machine, and Paul was so incredible that for a few hours that we all our became our young selves again. Filled with curiosity, wonder, excitement, optimism, and even a little bit of healthy uncertainty…. It was one of those moments where the trauma of aging had dispersed, just for a bit…and we all got to experience adolescent joy… the silliness of being a child… just for a few hours. Paul really gave so much to his audience. Pee-wee was the universal age appropriate humor that brought my family together as a kid. Oneliners that Dad could throw at us on long car trips. Dialogue about the Alamo and it’s lack of a basement recited word for word by mom in the kitchen. Humor that my brother and I, despite being four years apart, found funny… together.
Today is a sad day. But I am so grateful to and for Paul and the joy he brought to so many, through Pee-wee and all of his other incredible characters and performances. I guess since we can’t say goodbye, I just want to say thank you Paul.
I can’t believe it’s been over a year since .a.k shot /Lab II with and all over parts of East Austin. It was so fun and really hot. Like temperature wise.
I do feel a bit sick to my stomach… and like someone sucked out all the air in the world. Sinéad, we love you forever.
