Spark starts tomorrow! Here’s the line up! Registration is still open! It’s not too late….it’s going to be a great weekend!

TONIGHT IS THE EARLYBIRD DEADLINE FOR SPARK...We are growing in numbers and we are so excited to host this event at Waters Edge! We have people signed up for both the dorms and the hotel rooms. If you live close you can even commute. We would love for you to come and bring someone from your team! Please consider asking your local church if they would be willing to cover some of the cost? Most churches are happy to encourage their volunteers in this manner...the cost is minimal and what you take away is so BIG! You'll leave with resources, fresh ideas, and a new network of ministry friends.

Great questions today! Hotel rooms will be distributed in the order registration is received. We have 19 rooms total, 5 are taken at this time leaving 14. We also have 4 signed up for the dorms 😀. It been exciting to hear from many of you! There have been quite a few questions concerning the number of beds AND the size of the beds in the hotel rooms. There are 2 QUEEN BEDS and a private bath per room. Here is a peek at what they look like. Spark is going to be amazing! I hope that you are planning to come!

IT'S INEXPENSIVE....2 nights, 6 meals, free resources, and over $1000 in prizes will be given away. There are Gibson hotel prices, Bearinger dorm prices, and commuter prices AND EMD IS OFFERING A $50 SCHOLARSHIP to everyone who attends, making the price EVEN SWEETER. The conference center has also been updated and remodeled making your stay a nice and comfortable

We had a GREAT meeting last night! If you were unable to come we missed you! Our discussion was rich as we discussed upcoming Fall & Christmas events/ideas that are happening in the local church as well as a re-cap on our Summer Kids Camps. It was great to sit and listen to the positvie changes that were put in place this past summer and many new ideas for camps next year were shared. I love the wisdom that comes out of these meetings! I would also like everyone to know that we are expanding our Camp Leadership Team. If this interests you, please reach out to me.
A few upcoming dates you will want to save are:
November 12'th- Kids Talent Festival (Flint Central), packets will be emailed next week.
March 9-11'th- Spark Training Weekend (Waters Edge Campground)
There was a DATE change on the February Quiz Meet, the meet will be held at the Ellington Church on February 4'th, see attached flyer for schedule.

Eastern Michigan District.....Camp registrations have been flooding in this week! We are VERY EXCITED as we have 103 campers registered for Adventurer Camp and 52 registered for Discovery Camp. PARENTS.....PLEASE NOTE!
We ONLY HAVE 27 spots open for Adventurer camp as we only have 130 beds....please pass the word because we believe we are going to meet the capactiy very soon and camp registration will be closed for Adventurer camp.

We are so excited!!! We already have 120 children registered for camp! Just a reminder that today is the last day to receive the $25 early bird discount.

We have rescheduled our KIDS District Leadership meeting to FEBRUARY 28'TH. Same location-Flint Central, Same time 6:30pm! Its going to be an awesome night! WE are planning another resource swap (bring items you no longer need & share). Curriculum, games, musicals, costumes, anything you don't want to throw out or donate. We will be discussing 2022 calendar and we've added kids camp to our agenda! We have SO MANY AWESOME CHANGES coming! Plan to come, bring some of your team, and enjoy dinner with those who serve kids!

With the forecast of continued snow all afternoon, and so many of you driving an hour or two to come, we are going to cancel tonights meeting. I am so bummed because there is so much to chat about! I will repost a new date in the next day or so. Thank you for all you do for the Kingdom! You are loved and appreciated!
