Understanding the difference between what’s great for your gut and what isn’t is key to ensuring healthier outcomes. When it comes to our health, it should never be taken lightly. Knowing what foods will support the gut and what’s happening inside is essential to better health. In my program The Road to Gastrointestinal Healing it’s not just about improving conditions, but rather developing habits that last you well beyond the program so that you can be healthy for years to come.
Thank you Victoria for allowing me to be your guide to healing your gut💕
Imagine eating foods that don’t only make you look good but feel good too. The foods that we’ve grown to love over the years definitely make us feel good. What about looking good?
What better way to give your body exactly what it needs than creating healthy savory dishes. Made with cleaner ingredients designed to fuel your body just right.
That is what I seek to do through catering, my programs and the recipes I offer to my clients. Healthy food should leave you satisfied and fully replenished. Never the opposite because where’s the fun in that!
Thank you for your kind words! I’m so glad you enjoyed our plant-based vegan chik’n salad ☺️💕
These are the moments I live for! There is a light at the end of the tunnel 💡
Many of my clients have spent hundreds even thousands of dollars in our current health system to still suffer with the same or worst issues.
This is why this work is so incredibly important! People want tangible results- 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀!
Approaching our health holistically requires us to immerse ourselves in every part of the process. There aren’t any short cuts, but rather real life solutions that require consistency, discipline and will. The beautiful part about the whole process is not only can you heal your body and restore function, but you also walk away with invaluable tools that support you in living a happy and healthy life far beyond the program. That’s what it’s all about 💕

Whoever said that going plant-based had to be an unenjoyable experience?
When creating new dishes for my clients to try I’m always sure to keep three things in mind.
👉🏽Quality
👉🏾Texture
👉🏻Taste
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆- where is the food sourced from? What’s in it? It’s it free of harmful chemicals, non-GMO, organic “ FRESH”?
𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲- If we are going to call it a burger, lasagna or taco dip... is the texture just right..is the dip cheesy and saucy? If not let’s not call it dip or a burger it the texture and consistency doesn’t make sense.
𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲- Did you season those veggies with flavors that make the dish pop? Adding the right combinations of seasoning will make you either love or hate a dish.
Approaching any dish with this in mind has allowed my clients, friends and family to fully experience plant-based foods with pure joy and happiness.
Imagine eating foods that taste great but are also incredibly healthy and packed with nutrients that support better health.

At this point it’s no surprise that what we eat plays an important role in our overall well being or is it?
We all know that in order to really achieve the results you want in the gym it has to be coupled with a clean diet that supports recovery and muscle growth. Which typically means 80/20 rule- 80% diet 20% exercise. When more attention is given to exercise rather than diet results aren’t nearly as great.
To take it one step further. We all know candy isn’t great for our teeth. The sugar damages our enamel which can lead to a host of issues and one being cavities.
Additionally, if we consume a diet that contains tons of junk foods such as cake, cookies, chips, candy, sodas— this leads to significant weight gain. No surprise here.
At this point the common denominator in the health challenges we see should be obvious.
It’s the FOOD! It’s much more intricate than just adding in a green smoothie once or twice a week. Although that’s a start... healthy foods shouldn’t be given to our body’s as a treat. These foods should be given to our body’s consistently to support healthy function. Our current health system also ignores these simple truths and rather than addressing the food, treating disease with pills and potions have become top priority. On average in a week most people are consuming meals 3x’s a day which equates to at least 21 meals a week. How can we not consider that something we do 21 times a week and at least 84 times a month effects our overall well being?
How are you incorporating healthy options in your daily routine?
Are they categorized as a treat that you give your body every other day or twice a week?
This is why approaching our health holistically is so critical!

For years this plant has been under quite a bit of scrunity. At this point it’s no surprise to the profound therapeutic benefits of cannabis. Since today is the day many celebrate cannabis let’s highlight the facts behind this powerful plant.
This may come as a surprise to you, but we all have this system in our body referred to as the 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗶𝗱 system.
This complex system is more like our body’s command center as it assist and guides the many processes our body performs daily to ensure we remain in a state of homeostasis. This complex system has cannabinoid receptors that are literally housed throughout our entire body—in our brains, connective tissues, immune cells etc. When we consume cannabis this allows us to refuel this system and helps our body maintain a state of balance.
Our ability to maintain balance is critical to our survival.
When we catch a cold, suffer from a stuffy nose, sinus drainage, bloating, constipation etc this is our body’s way of telling us we are out of balance. At these moments is when this system is able to step in to assist in getting our body back to a state of homeostasis. Any time this delicate balance is disturbed this is when we begin to see imbalances present that ultimately lead to illness/disease.

Last night I did a thing☺️
Since switching to eating plants I have yet to create or taste a version of chicken alfredo that was worthy of bragging about, better yet enjoying. As I approach the final recipes that go into developing my cookbook. I’m so excited to share all of these options with you. There are so many misconceptions about plant based foods and how they lack flavor and how they aren’t fully satisfying.
My goal has been to recreate my all time favorites in a healthy way without compromising the flavor, but staying true to the culture 🖤
It brings me so much joy to do this because in all honestly I know you guys are going to fall in love just as much as I have. Stay tuned we are almost finished 💕🤞🏾

How do we heal the gut..is it possible?
🔹The GI-MAP stool test is designed to identify imbalances that are present in the Gastrointestinal tract. The information received from this test gives us valuable insight into parasitic pathogens, viral pathogens, normal bacteria, opportunistic bacteria, potential auto immune triggers, fungi, yeast, parasites “worms” and important information about the quality of our intestinal health/ immunity. It’s critical to identify these, then address any functional issues that are present so that we can begin the healing process.
Taking a holistic approach to addressing gut dysfunction is the best way to address the issue at its core.
Here’s our approach to healing👇🏾
🔺R E M O V E
We remove any foods and medications that may compromise the gut health. Please note this process is always done in conjunction with your physician. Then we add in natural healing agents such as herbs, oil “supplement” to help restore balance.
🔺R E P L A C E
To encourage healthy digestion we ensure that you have sufficient amounts of enzymes and bacteria by replacing what’s missing.
🔺R E-I N O C U L A T E
The next step is to repopulate the gut by using quality probiotics and prebiotics to improve digestion and to ensure that the gut is healthy.
🔺R E P A I R
We have to repair the gut lining and intestinal wall that has been damaged. This is accomplished by cellular repair of the gut wall and by adding in supportive agents that improve the immune system of the gut.
🔺R E B A L A N C E
An essential part of the healing process is designing a customized protocol that focuses on diet, lifestyle and the right supplements which provides the right balance one needs. Often times how life stressors play a significant role in our abilities to heal. This personalized approach allows us to cater to your specific needs so that you benefit. It’s not a one size fits all approach but a plan tailored to your individual needs so you can truly heal.

The food we eat is a significant part of our cultures and our everyday life. Most people on average are eating anywhere from 3-4 times a day which converts to 21-28 times a week and 84-112 a month. When we think of it like this, eating is a significant part of our life and literally influences how we show up in the world. Now when we talk about food addictions, I’m not talking about the more obvious one’s where an individual is binge eating. I am referring to the one’s that have grown an emotional attachment to a certain food because it’s a part of their culture—they’ve been eating it since they were a kid. In other cases, one has developed a dependency on the food because it makes them feel a certain way temporarily. With many of the foods that exist in the store today; they contain several additives that stimulate the brain and make us crave specific foods throughout our day. Let’s take Doritos for an example. They’re crunchy, zesty, cheesy and literally the perfect snack when watching a game or if you’re just chillen. Have you ever noticed that you can’t just eat one? Here’s why…there is a chemical found in Doritos called Monosodium Glutamate(MSG) that is considered a flavor enhancer that also sends signals to your brain to encourage overeating. Sadly, this chemical is found in other foods such as oriental foods and other snack items too. It’s not just MSG we have to be aware of, but sugar also since it also stimulates the brain. Sugar has been found to induce reward and cravings that are similar to those induced by addictive drugs. So, when we really begin to understand these simple truths, it’s important to not fall victim to these chemicals to avoid creating these type of food addictions that eventually lead to sickness and disease.
What foods are you currently eating that you feel as though you can’t live without? Is it because the food is indeed a health promoting food? Perhaps, it’s a food that has been manipulated and convinced you that it’s amazing due to the additives it contains. I invite you to begin taking a deeper look into why you love a food so much. Take the steps today to improve your health. You owe it to yourself💚
What isD҉ Y҉ S҉ B҉ I҉O҉S҉ I҉ S҉ 🦠
With the growing number of pesticides and other chemicals added to our food along with loads of sugar, and over the counter drugs etc. All of these agents negatively affect our gut health.
When we discuss dysbiosis this specifically means that there is an imbalance in our gut bacteria. Simply put, not all bacteria are good and not all are bad. More importantly, it’s about having the right balance. Typically, when we begin to see issues arise it’s usually due to these bacteria being elevated or depressed and either scenario interrupts that delicate balance that must be maintained to give our body the harmony it needs. So how do we determine if our guts are out of whack? Testing my friends! Here at Wholisitic Essentials we use the Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus to give us greater insight to what is happening in our guts. This extraordinary test helps us identify the following:
✔️Imbalanced Gut
✔️Pathogens
✔️Parasitic Pathogens
✔️Viral Pathogens
✔️Parasites
✔️Fungi/Yeast
✔️Potential Auto Immune Triggers
✔️Intestinal Health
✔️Antibiotic Resistance
