Hand-crafted means different things to different people. To us, we start with an empty 16 oz. Mason jar that we find through our neighbors down the road. Then we wick them (which is a whole process in itself -we'll show you a different day). Then we make sure the wicks are straight so your candle burns evenly. Then we pour. But not all the way - because our 100% soy wax isn't beautiful and has pock marks on the first pass, we 'top' your candles so they look smooth and finished. And then we trim the wicks, affix the lid and the label, and make sure it's ready for your home. Hand-crafted means a lot to us, has meant a lot to us for more than 20 years.
