There's a whole story this article doesn't show, and that's the intense dedication of a team of nearly 250 Northern Jet team members. One year ago, Northern Jet and Northern Jet (Operated by SpeedBird) decided on a strategic partnership to add lift and efficiency to both companies. A few months later, a merger was agreed, and two teams became one.
We're only 10 months into our merger, and our team is stronger than ever. We're organized, motivated, and steadfast in our dedication to our customers.

Referred to as “Super Scoopers” or “Water Bombers,” these incredible aircrafts are working hard across Canada to fight the wildfires spreading across the country. The lifesaving planes can scoop up to 1,620 gallons of water from a nearby water source and drop it on a fire without having to return to base to refill its tanks.
One of our pilots had the opportunity explore one of the grounded Bombardier 415 planes recently as the clouds were too dense for flight. Wishing everyone involved safe travels.
