Next weekend we will be helping to sponsor the Empty Shelter Project. 500 animals will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We are in great need of volunteers for this huge project. The spots filled up in less than an hour which just tells you how great the need is in East Montgomery County. We need help with

This is Felicty. Her name means "the state of being happy, domestic bliss," and she would be very happy to find her furrever home! Felicity was dumped in a neighborhood by her former owner and was lucky enough to be found, shaking and crying, under a bush at one of our fosters’ home. She was very underweight, and her beautiful coat was dirty and matted. But with love and care, she's now sweet, a little shy, and absolutely beautiful! Pepper is the sweetest cat ever! She’s never met a stranger and loves to be held. A shoulder rider in the making, this little love gives hugs and kisses to her humans. After having raised her 6 beautiful kittens, Pepper is ready for a life of luxury in her furrever home!

Costco, Walmart & Sam's Club are a great place to get bulk goodies! 🥤🍪🍫🍬Drop off donations between 11a-1pm on June 8 or 15 at 1220 W. 23rd Street.

This is the perfect time of year to adopt a cat or kitten! The kids are out of school and looking for something to do. Kittens are the perfect distraction from screens! Animals teach them empathy, responsibility, and give them a soft place to land. Plus, they are FUN! So, check out all the awesome cats and kittens we have up for adoption!

Sadie and Sophie are not biological sisters but they love each other and need to stay together. They are about 2 years old and have lost their home through no fault of their own. They are sweet girls who love to snuggle with each other and love to be loved on. Please contact us if you can help these girls transition to their forever home. Sadie will need regular grooming, we believe she is a Himalayan mix. Sophie is a White Shoe Siamese mix with unique markings.

It's $5.00 Friday and we sure could use a little help with all these kittens! We currently have over 70 kittens in our rescue and each one will need about $200 in vetting to get adoption ready and that doesn't include any vetting for illness and we all know, kittens get sick! This kitten season has been brutal but we are trying to help everyone we can. Without the funding for vetting, we can't take any more on. If you could spare $5 today, we (and they) would be very grateful! All these babies are available now or will be soon.

This is a big deal folks .
We are grateful that The Empty Shelter Project-Texas is coming to Montgomery County . They are an amazing team of vets , vet techs and volunteers whose mission is to spay / neuter / vaccinate and microchip thousands of pets every year to make our communities better .
Our group , Lone Star Animal Welfare League has the same mindset . As do the sponsors listed below who have joined us in funding this effort.
We are all working toward the same goal . Less unwanted litters , fewer animals dumped at shelters or worse , the streets .

My two rear feet were injured while I was outdoors, but healing nicely. I was found by a kind person who saved me from the dangers of being outdoors. Chip loves everyone and has been known to fall asleep cuddling a handy child! Pickles is stunning with her pure white coat and dual colored eyes. They can be separated or go together.
