Old concrete and block paving removed and replaced with Plaspave Premia 60 Granite Stone.
Highly rate Jonny Martinson for his grab lorry and Shire aggregates for supplying the hardcore , a pleasure to work with both.

Busy fencing .
This was three weeks ago

Finally got this done ,put on hold from October 23 as it was nothing but rain .
Removed the old tarmac that had been laid badly .
Had to dig out the hardcore as it wasn't deep enough from the original development in 2002.
Also lifted the P trap drain and fixed the leaking joint as that hadn't been assembled correctly.

Removed another five tons of soil before relaying the base now with the fall away from the walls

Its been a very tough year ,continual price rises with materials,some have jumped ridiculous amounts and sadly ,I have no control over that .
The cost of living is affecting everybody,myself included .
Ive still got my head above water but only just .
Lets get Christmas out the way and hopefully ,the new year will bring a little hope .
Many traders think its ok to up the prices of materials they buy to make a profit , I dont do that ,what ever I pay is what the customer pays ,

All building and landscaping materials prices have rocketed in the last year ,,unfortunately I have no control of this so please don't be shocked if a quoted price has increased by the time the materials arrive,
Some items are still proving difficult to obtain and are often on many weeks back order ,covid,brexit,who knows why but its causing lots of delays .I am at the mercy of the merchants

Tidy the old hedge line after the conifers were cut down by another firm who left the stumps.
Built a raised border using 10x5 oak sleepers and topped with red granite chippings.

Renew the fence after everybody had hit it over the years, hopefully they will park further away in future

Finally finished of what I started last November, it was so cold and wet back then ,it was best to leave it untill spring and some warmer weather .
Summerhouse base ready for May delivery ,turfed and borders planted
