P.S. Sujeet is a besieged soul churning out his creativity into paintings. Sujeet has now taken refuge in geometric shapes hidden in everyday life.
A graduate from The Delhi College of Arts in Applied Art, Sujeet spent several eventful years in the Television and Broadcast Industry. His creative urge took him to founding and running Acira Media, a leading design house, besides juggling as a part time lecturer teaching MFA students at his Alma Mater. Born in Hojai, a small town in Assam, Sujeet spent his childhood and a large part of his youth
going to the government school Janakpuri and growing up playing cars with spare tyres in the by lanes of humble NewDelhi, where life was not easy but not too dull either. A large part of Sujeet’s inspiration is drawn from his childhood impressions that left an indelible mark on his psyche. The black and white paintings bring to the forefront the ruthlessness of life whereas the contrasting colour and the indefinable shades of grey bring myriad interpretations to the surprises that come with everyday. The paintings depict the struggle, the joys and the reality of everyday modern life. In Acrylic and mix media, these paintings are an ode to man and his humanness. Sujeet was born in 1972 and is settled in New Delhi.
