Perfection is Not Perfect is my quilt hanging in the National Juried Show at Quilt Canada 2024 in Edmonton.
Whipped up a pattern for a couch cozy. Where you place it on the arm of couch, tuck one end under cushion, and other hangs over arm of chair. This is to be used for crochet and knitting needles. There are 8 pockets in total. This was fabric the customer wanted.
I do love making lanyards out of my funky quilt fabric.

Backstory: as kids after swimming at camp we would sit at our picnic table in our swim suits drying off in the sun eating nuts and bolts, drinking Pop Shoppe pop.
I saw this fabric and sent a pic to my sister who immediately wanted a book bag. I paid a ridiculous amount for a metre of it.
Got ready to sew it and asked her how big she wanted it. The reply was enough to hold 8 books. There went my super fast single fabric idea.
Straps go all the way down for extra support. All seams are doubled. Lining added for extra strength.
