Last Friday our residents hit the town for an awesome day at Dave & Buster’s. We ended the day with some delicious ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery!

A group of our residents went to LOOK Cinema at Reston Town Center to watch “Book Club” sponsored by Reston Association and then stopped to get Chick-Fil-A for lunch.

Our residents know there's no better way to spend a hot day than shopping at the mall and enjoying some ice cream!

We had a Fun Friday Scavenger Hunt where small candies were hidden throughout the building. Each shift had one special candy bar, and the staff members who found it won a Movie Night Gift Basket to celebrate National Movie Night!

Each year one individual is recognized for exemplary service by receiving the Deborah L. Petrine Award and today, we are proud to announce the 2023 Deborah L. Petrine Award Winner goes to AnaLucia!

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage and dedication inspire us every day.

We had a great time as we wrapped up National Skilled Nursing Week. On Friday we had an art exhibit where our residents had the opportunity to show off their creations 🎨

Later that day residents had the opportunity to attend the Hylton Performing Art Center to watch the Romeo and Juliet ballet!

We finished off the week with Potomac Falls Health & Rehab center joining us for bingo and a Mission BBQ meal! We want to thank Mission BBQ in Chantilly for donating lunch to our veterans for Armed Forces Day!

Yesterday BEAN-O winner was Liz, Director of Dining Services! We also had our Golden Age of Radio party. We had petting zoo, ice cream truck and Kona Ice, cotton candy, popcorn, and a 1920-1950s live band.

Bean-O continues today! Today’s winner was AnaLucia from the Activities Department!

To continue the fun, residents and staff participated in a Game Show Showdown! They competed in Family Feud, Jeopardy and Price is Right all questions based on the Golden Age of Radio.

We kicked off National Skilled Nursing Care Week with a delightful Muffins & Mimosas with Moms social event. Generously, Amy’s Army contributed stuffed animals to bring smiles to the moms' faces.

Also, In keeping with our Skilled Nursing Care Week festivities, we're delving into the Radiant Memories of the Golden Age of Radio from the 1920s to the 1950s. At Dulles Health & Rehab, we're enjoying a nostalgic game of BEAN-O, a precursor to the beloved BINGO, which was a hit in the 1920s. Our staff and residents had a blast playing, and today's winner was Jeffrey from the Maintenance Department!
