An Evening with Dr. Kwasniewski — Una Voce Maine 21/08/2024

This was an enjoyable and successful event..thank you for who attended and assisted

An Evening with Dr. Kwasniewski — Una Voce Maine Approximately 90 members of Maine’s TLM community turned out for an engaging evening with noted author and liturgist Dr. Peter Kwasniewski at Holy Martyrs Church in Falmouth. He presented a lecture titled, “The Grace of Stability: How Liturgy Forms the Christian Soul.”

15/08/2024

Dear Una Voce Maine friends,

Greetings again. We are writing to remind you that this Sunday, August 18th, at Holy Martyrs Church in Falmouth, noted author and liturgist Dr. Peter Kwasniewski will be giving a lecture titled, “The Grace of Stability: How Liturgy Forms the Christian Soul.” The lecture will be held at 4:30 PM, with a Q & A and book signing session to be held immediately thereafter, and a light dinner to follow.

Also, this being the third Sunday of the month, there will be a social coffee hour after the 8:30 AM Mass at the Basilica in Lewiston. Please note that due to security issues at the Basilica the downstairs is locked during Mass. We understand that we have generous parishioners who bring snacks for the coffee social hour before Mass. The elevator will be locked after set up and not available for drop off.

We can set up a table in the narthex for parishioners to drop off snacks during Mass rather than bringing them to the pews. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Greetings,
We are writing to announce an exciting event that Una Voce Maine will be sponsoring on Sunday, August 18th, at Holy Martyrs Church in Falmouth.

Noted author and liturgist Dr. Peter Kwasniewski will be joining us, that evening, to give a lecture titled, “The Grace of Stability: How Liturgy Forms the Christian Soul.” A founding faculty member, administrator, and choir director at Wyoming Catholic College in Lander, Wyoming, since the summer of 2018 Dr. Kwasniewski has pursued a career as a freelance author, public speaker, editor, publisher, and composer, with the intention of dedicating his life to the articulation and defense of Catholic Tradition in all its dimensions.
Reservations are not needed to attend, but UVM is asking for donations to help the defray the expenses for the event, which fall outside our regular annual budget. To contribute, please use the Donate button on the UVM website. In addition, whether donating online or by check, we ask that you include the note “Peter K.” so that we will be able to separate donations for this event from other contributions.

We hope you will join us on Sunday, August 18th, as we hear from one of the leading scholars on the depths and beauty of the traditional liturgy. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
