Promoting the beauty of the sometimes hidden art found in cemetery sculpture.

Due to the overcrowding of inner city graveyards,the Victorian garden cemeteries became the places to put loved ones to rest. The Victorian obsession with death and all it's trimmings, resulted in some incredible works of memorial sculpture. It is my interest in the 'Victorian way of death' that wishes to bring new life into this macabre but beautiful art form. By presenting grave art in the form of photography I believe these sculptures can reveal a new story.
