While watching the video of the National that our club, Northeast Texas hosted, I wondered why the class dogs and class bi***es were left out. I am sure Diana Allen, Carol Nassif and Susan DeLaPaz would have liked for there class dogs to be included. Diana won Best Male and Best of Winners. Susan won Best Female. I want everyone to know that we did have class dogs and class bi***es represented at this National, and the video is incomplete without them.

Hi All Just returned home from the NAEDA National in Texas!! What a GREAT show!! Kudos to the Texas Club for hosting a great show. We got home at little after 10pm last night, unloaded, and Sarah, Meadow, and Brooke left for Michigan,...another 5 hours. Sarah had to be at the clinic at 8am this Morning all bright eyed and bushy tailed!! She will have the results of the show for you this evening when she gets home, sorry for the delay!!!

This is an open discussion for anyone interested in breeding, or who is now breeding, or who just wants to learn more about Eskies! Sundays Northern Group is in the Ring!

We have talked about doing something special for long time breeder/judge Dick Kortemeier at the 2024 National.
One of the most important aspects of the shows to Dick were the Juniors, for which without the Juniors, what is our future?
Dick always support the Juniors in many ways and they were very important to him.
What I would like to propose is a Memorial Trophy to be awarded once per year at the National to our Best Junior on the day of the National. The Junior would receive a rosette, and trophy. Plaque on trophy would state "2025 Dick Kortemeier Memorial Best Junior Handler". The would also be a Memorial Trophy that each year the willing Junior's name would be on the nameplate on the Trophy.
It will begin with the 2024 National in Texas.
The below picture is something of what I was thinking, except with an Eskie standing, instead of the silver cup. We have a number of older trophies with the Eskie standing that can be put on top.
This is just an idea....open for more ideas, lmk
We can get some pricing. I do wish to that EVERYONE in advance that wished to donate to the trophy, it is very, very much appreciated

As President of the NAEDA I would like to extend on the behalf of the National our deepest sympathy to the family of long time breeder/judge of American Eskimos Dick Kortemeier.
I would like to propose a Memorial Trophy in Dick's name for the 2024 National. Dick was the backbone of the Oklahoma American Eskimo Association for many years. He will truly be missed for a long time to come.
If you have an idea, let me know, and we can move forward. If you would like to make a donation for the Trophy. Lmk.
