Sheena Pasricha is a full time Certified Hand Therapist dedicating free time to prep healthy meals Tuesdays are dedicated to the kitchen.

Working 13 hrs a day as a hand therapist does not leave a lot of time to cook. "like" my page & follow me for great tasting, family friendly recipes that are also figure friendly. Nutritional content have been added to allow you to stick you your diet whether it being low carb, low fat, low cal or weight watchers points plus. Losing weight and keeping it off is easy once you have great recipes to help you out!

You can make a habit form in anywhere from 1-6 months. Even when I was indulging in various foods these past 2 months, I was more aware of my body’s needs.

# # 10 Tips to Beat Body Fa for woman 40+ t! 🌟

1. **Protein Punch** 💪: Aim for 30g of protein per meal to keep hunger at bay and boost metabolism.

2. **Fiber Goals** 🌽: Get 25g of fiber daily from veggies, fruits, and whole grains to aid digestion and stay full.

3. **Limit Added Sugar** 🚫: Keep added sugar to 25g a day. Choose whole foods to avoid hidden sugars.

4. **Healthy Fats** 🥑: Embrace avocados, nuts, and olive oil to balance hormones and provide lasting energy.

5. **Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate** 💧: Drink plenty of water to control cravings and keep your metabolism running smoothly. Especially before your meals.

6. **Portion Control** 🍽️: Use smaller plates and be mindful of serving sizes to avoid overeating.

7. **Weighted Walks** 🚶‍♀️: Walk with a weighted vest to strengthen bones and decrease osteoporosis risk. .

8.. **Sleep Well** 😴: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep to regulate hunger and stay energized.

Finally! A book & stuffy that my boy LOVES!
He can truly relate to this book about a Sikh boy that wears a patka, named Harman. Harman deals with adversity & gets made fun of for looking different. Friendship, support and unity helps resolve the bullying.
This little stuffy & book is the perfect “show and tell” item to take to school.
Shaan read it to his class (his teacher sent me the 1st pic in post) & he will soon be sharing it with his entire school.

My 2023 word is BALANCE

For some people, this is easy to achieve and there was a time that I thought I maintained a good balance with all the roles I have.
Toward the end of 2022, I was suffering from burnout. I did not have the emotional and mental capacity to give work or life the attention that it deserved.

I have always been an over-achiever and need to learn to say “NO” to the distractions and time wasters in my life.

How am I going to BALANCE 2023 as a working mom in a Management role?

☑️Setting Boundaries. Saying “NO” or finding alternatives

☑️Letting go of my Mom Guilt
I am NOT perfect

☑️STOP Multitasking
Begin Monotasking and being more present during whatever I’m doing

☑️Creating time for ME
Movement, Healthy Foods and Creating Content

Avoiding distractions and time-wasters
