Peoples customers can look forward to lower gas bills this winter season. This comes thanks to big drops in the price of gas, as well as a credit being automatically applied to bills of customers who use Peoples as their gas supplier.
Peoples is required by law to purchase the most reliable supply of gas at the lowest available price and those gas commodity costs are passed through to customers dollar-for-dollar.

Happy Thanksgiving! We give thanks to our team, working to provide the region with the safe, clean and reliable natural gas that heats homes and helps make holiday meals (and more) happen for so many of us.
We're also thankful for the ability to support so many great holiday traditions - come enjoy them with us this weekend! Saturday, we're at the annual Butler Spirit of Christmas Parade. And, hit the Peoples Gas Holiday Market in downtown Pittsburgh, happening daily from Black Friday to Christmas Eve!
Thanksgiving is tomorrow! Before the cooking begins, here is a reminder from our sister company Aqua of how to protect your pipes from costly clogs caused by excess oil and grease. Watch the video below to learn more.
Avoid Costly Clogs Have you ever cooked up some bacon or boiled some chicken only to pour the leftover grease down the drain? It seems so easy—and, let’s face it, very tempting...
Make sure your weekend plans include a trip to the Peoples Gas Holiday Market! You'll find one-of-a-kind vendors, live entertainment and sweet seasonal treats. Plus you can chip in to support the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and get a special ornament from us! Available at the Holiday Market on Black while supplies last, we're matching the first $5,000 donated to the Food Bank to support their work for our region's most vulnerable members.
This week, we had the privilege to sponsor Light of Life Rescue Mission's largest-ever Thanksgiving dinner box drive. Members of the Peoples team gave their time to help pack 2,100 boxes for families in need throughout our region, in addition to a $20,000 contribution from the Essential Utilities Foundation.
This event and others throughout November are part of our Fall For Food Banks campaign, where our employees give back time, talent and treasure to help people facing food insecurity and the non-profit organizations that serve them throughout the Peoples, Delta Gas and Aqua service territories.
UN-Water's World Toilet Day is coming up, and our sister company, Aqua, is sharing a friendly reminder to not flush paper towels, feminine products or wipes, to help avoid clogs and backups. 🧻🚽
In recognition of World Toilet Day on November 19, an annual UN-Water Observance that encourages action to tackle the global sanitation crisis, we’d like to share a friendly reminder of what not to flush.
To help avoid costly clogs that can prevent our wastewater systems from effectively serving our customers, we ask you to please not flush paper towels, feminine products or wipes, even those marketed as flushable, as these items do not break down and can cause backups.
For more on World Toilet Day, visit https://brnw.ch/21wExHG.

We’re always looking for impactful ways to help the communities we serve, and earlier this fall, we had a perfect opportunity. On October 18, in recognition of Disability Mentoring Day, we hosted an event with students from a Greensburg Salem School District special education class. A group of soon-to-be graduates spent the day at our Pittsburgh headquarters participating in hands-on job training and career exploration activities, touring our offices and mingling with our leaders, including Essential Utilities CEO Chris Franklin.
Empowering our youth is so important to their future success. We were honored to help this group build skills that can be used long after high school.
This Veterans Day, we’re incredibly proud to honor all Essential team members who have served in our nation’s armed forces. Thanks to each of you for your commitment and dedication.
You have until 6 p.m. today to join the 94.5 3WS Winter Warm Up Request-A-Thon! Give to Dollar Energy Fund, help neighbors in need and we'll match your contribution dollar-for-dollar.
