I'm Silvana Cardona, Julie's cousin and founder of Julie's Journey. I came up with this idea to create a charity for her when I saw her suffering in the hospital one day. It's really hard to see such a beautiful soul go through such hard times and have a total health change in a matter of seconds. I really want to help bring Sickle Cell Anemia awareness out and help fundraise an organization for a cure. Please join in if you want to change this illness as well.

4 years ago we lost someone so kind, pure, and beautiful. Heaven gained an angel. We love and miss you Julie ❤️
On December 22nd, 2015 God gained a beautiful angel and this world lost such a loving soul. Although we all grieve differently there is still that small or large ounce of pain that is in all of our hearts because of your absence. You're no longer suffering. You're no longer in a battle with Sickle Cell. There's not a day that goes by that you're not thought about. We all love you Julie, your journey will forever carry on. ❤️
