The Chicago Bus Trip is March 5-6, 2017. Hosts must be available from 6:30 PM on Sunday, March 5 to 8:00 AM on Monday, March 6, be in good academic standing, and live in the residence halls. For more information and to sign up, visit http://bit.ly/cbt2017hosts. Responses are due February 16.

University Communications needs your help with a fun video shoot. The video concept will involve two separate challenges where students will attempt to fit in or on two different spaces on Drake's campus.

The first location will be the sign on University Ave and 25th Street; this will be filmed on December 2nd at 2pm.
(Keep a look-out for our second challenge. It will be filmed at a later date with another challenging location.) Whichever challenge group packs the most people in or on to their challenge location, will earn bragging rights to our video challenge.

This year we will have visitors on campus August 1-5, with hour-long tours going out daily at 11:00 and 3:30. You do not need to be available for all 10 tours...we are interested in whatever time you can offer! Best part: this is a PAID opportunity! You will also get paid for the training before that week. The Office of Admission is busy welcoming the Class of 2020 admitted students to Drake, but we need your help! We want the entire campus to congratulate these students on being admitted with a cool welcome video. This means we need you and your student organization to film a short greeting that we can include in our video! Not only is this a great way to welcome admitted students, but it'll also be a fantastic way for you to promote your student organization to next year's new students. If you are a work study student, keep an eye on your Drake email! If you completed the work-study application to line up a job before classes start up, you will receive an email sent to your Drake email on Friday, August 7. In this email, you will learn the area that you have been assigned, a brief description of the job, and contact person if you have questions about the job. Based on your decision whether to accept or decline, you will receive additional information.

If you are interested in working on campus during the first semester and you qualified for work-study, be sure to complete the online employment application! Begin the work-study process by completing the application and indicating areas of interest. (Please do so by June 30.) Supervisors may contact you for initial conversations beyond your application!
