demystifying mental health Welcome to the Fog at Bay, a new series of personal stories demystifying mental health. We hope you’ll enjoy them.
The Fog at Bay team formed from as a project from another podcast, Carry the One Radio, which features short interviews with scientists about their work. While we were conducting interviews, we heard about some striking conflicts, turning points, and mental health issues, but these hardly ever made it into the final cut because they didn’t align with the format or science-oriented mission of that
podcast. People shared stories of their vulnerabilities, which often became opportunities for growth and discovery. Those stories gave us the chills, and we couldn’t let them go. So we decided to make a new podcast to share those personal stories with you. In season 1, we have voices from graduate school, medical school, and even faculty. In season two, we switch up the format with two guests having a conversation about their experience of otherness. Please let us know what you think or submit your own story by emailing us at [email protected], facebook.com/thefogatbay, twitter @thefogatbay, or visiting us at https://www.thefogatbay.com.
