Swoyersville Post 644 Youth fell to Perk Valley Raiders Jr Legion 16U 5-4 on Monday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the eighth when Trevor P singled, scoring one run.
Perk Valley Raiders Jr Legion 16U rallied for the victory despite trailing 4-0 in the second.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Swoyersville Post 644 Youth pitchers struck out eight, while Wayne Wolverines - Youth Legion (Juniors) sat down two.

Senior team takes on Greater Pittston at 2 PM at Connell Park in South Scranton today in the Region 5 semi’s!

Swoyersville American Legion Baseball youth wins tonight’s semi-final round over Greater Pittston. The Youth team Advances to Thursday’s WVAL Youth Championship game at 5:30 PM.
The game will be played at the Pittston Primary Center on Rock St. in Pittston.
