Most wedding edits take a very long time. 60- 100 hours is not unusual. This is because we shoot as a crew with three or four cameras running throughout the day. You can imagine the space that takes up on a hard drive! This one took up 2 Terabytes on a Thunderbolt drive (yes, we use the fastest possible drive and connection!)https://vimeo.com/147519942

Just attended the Blessing of the Bikes in Colebrook, NH. The 38th annual blessing of the bikes is traditionally held at the end of June. It is the climax of the three day Great North Woods Ride In. Unfortnateley, it was announced at this year’s event that the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace on Route 3 on the Colebrook/Columbia town line is to close. Next years event will take place but not at the shrine.

The Blessing of the Bikes is performed on Sunday by the priests of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, the order that maintains the Shrine. Following a short Mass, the motorcyclists line up in two aisles depending on whether they are heading north or south to home. Each motorcycle and rider is blessed. You will see a couple of motorcyclists who clearly couldn't care a hoot about being blessed. The blessing is believed to provide divine protection for another year of safe bike riding.

The Balsams Grand Hotel at Dixville Notch in northern New Hampshire has been closed since September 15th, 2011. This grand hotel stands empty, not a soul around, waiting for the wrecker's ball or a new lease of life. Thousands and thousands of dollars are needed for renovations and expansion of the old ski area. Investors in the property hope reconstruction will come soon, but at the moment the future of this grand hotel hangs in the balance.
