One of the most rewarding aspects of the All About Dogs experience has been the work we have done with service dogs. Whether the retired military and police dogs, the guide dogs or the companion dogs they have all been greatly impressive and a big inspiration for all. Hello to all our new followers as well as those who have been with us throughout our journey.

As many of you will know, All About Dogs has been active in the US for over 10 years. After much consideration and investment, we have decided to terminate our operations there and focus our attention and energies back in SA and perhaps UK.

Unfortunately the negative impact of the COVID pandemic and the remorseless and heavy price increases of storage there have pushed us to make this decision.

We wish to sincerely thank all of our US clients and supporters throughout the US for all their encouragement and support over the years, but so pleased that so many doggies, and some kitties, will still be enjoying the comfort of our premium beds.

We will soon make an announcement on our plans for the stock of beds and blankets we still have in storage in Philadelphia PA that will need to be cleared. It will be a combination of selling at deep discounted prices and donating to some worthy causes. So if any of you know any potentially worthy beneficiaries kindly send us an email on [email protected]

With that being said, we have some exciting projects on the drawing board and will be especially looking forward to working with the guide dogs and service pups.

Hi all. Last Sunday we were proud to participate in the South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind annual event once again. This year was a special one as it was also their 70th anniversary. They do such amazing work and the pups in training put on a great display of fun and skills; it was good to see so many vendors and visitors. As usual All About Dogs donated a dog bed for the raffle which helped to raise extra and much needed funds. The draw was held late in the afternoon and there was great anticipation among the ticket holders. Unfortunately there could only be one winner. Congratulations again Nicci Smit!

Hi all. Yesterday we had the pleasure to take part in the annual South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind Carnival Market and it was as usual an amazing experience. The work that they do to provide useful service dogs for the visually impaired is well known but now they are also doing it for autistic children and people in wheelchairs. The demonstrations of all these beautiful dogs at work was very, very moving. As usual, to help with the raising of much needed funds, we donated one of our premium beds for a raffle and, happy to say, it raised a significant amount of money as well as many smiles.
Well done South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind, keep up the great work and see you again at your next event.

Hi all. This is beautiful Hugo the German Shepherd still loving his All About Dogs eighteen months after his loving human parents got it for him. Also Master Leo the Great Dane fully comfortable after only six weeks in his bed that he inherited from his big brother Oliver, the Great Dane (all of 90kgs) who used it for six years. Perfect beds: endurance, style and comfort for a lifetime.
