Hi everyone. Singapore Street Festival will be organizing 2 painting competitions for this year’s SSF’23.
1. Graffiti painting competition (spray paints only)
2. Mural painting competition (any medium)
Date: 24 and 25 June 2023.
Time: 10am-6pm.
Both competitions will start on the same day, you have 2 days to complete your artworks within the stipulated time frame.

Paintings will be done on primed wood panels 200cmW x 160cmH.
Please bring your own painting materials.
Completed paintings will be exhibited at 3 Lendlease malls: Jem, Parkway Parade and PLQ between 7 July til 14 August 2023.
The theme for this competition is BUILD ON OUR 50(years) for the next 50.
Prizes for each competition are cash and vouchers of value up to:
1st - $1,500.oo
2nd - $1,000.oo
3rd - $500.oo
You will be required to submit a sketch of your design by Sunday 18 June 2359hrs.
Shortlisted entries will be notified within 3 days via phone/email.
Winners will be notified via the same way.
Only 1 sketch is allowed per entry. Each entry can be as an individual or crew of up to 2 artists.
Please submit your sketches in .jpg format of not more than 3mb to [email protected] with subject:

Judging criteria
Originality - judges are looking for something new and different. The artists’ style must be unique.
Composition and Color usage - judges will be looking to see how well the artists use color and composition in their pieces.
Technique - this is where we consider the artists can take control. What the artists do with technique will set their pieces apart from the rest.
