I am picking up the HS State Wrestling shirts this evening. Chelsea Barnes will have them in the High School Office. Please pay her at time of pick up, or you can venmo -Lawrenz-1 prior to pick up.

We know that it is a Parent Teacher Conference night, but there WILL be practice tonight for whoever can make it!

There will not be practice on Thursday.

EDIT! Cut off is NOON! We are placing a t-shirt order for the Herington High School State Qualifiers! Please respond to this post if you would like me to order you one they will be $25. Cut off for this order will be Monday the 19th at 2pm.

!! WEIGH IN INFO !! Weigh-ins will be at 5pm tonight for the McPherson tournament tomorrow!

There will be no practice tonight! Wrestlers are encouraged to come support the middle school wrestlers at the home tonight!

!! Districts Registration - Salina, KS - March 2rd, 2024 !!

Districts Registration is open. Please respond to this post to register your child (Registration fee is $25).

Districts is a qualifying tournament for the USAW Kansas Kids State Championship Tournament. THE TOP 4 PLACERS FROM EACH WEIGHT CLASS WILL ADVANCE TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT IN TOPEKA.

!!SCHEDULE UPDATE!!
Our regular wrestling season has come to an end!
If your child is wrestling this weekend in McPherson, or Districts on 3/2 practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00pm.

If your wrestler is done competing in tournaments this season, they can return their singlet and be finished with practice. We appreciate the parent support this year and have loved the influx of new young wrestlers! We hope to see them all return next season!

If you borrowed shoes or have shoes you would like to donate, please bring them with your singlet or send these items with your students that attend HES and give them to Mrs. Barnes.

There will be NO practice tonight (Thursday, February 1st). Instead, you are welcome to come and support your Herington High School team as they wrestle at home tonight at 5:00 pm!!

!!Manhattan Tournament 1/20/2024!!
Please respond to this post if you want me to register your child for the Manhattan Tournament. So far I have: Truxton, Liam, Elijah, and Daxton.

There will be no practice this evening! We will see you all on Thursday.

Both tournaments for this weekend (13th/14th) are full. We are starting signups for Manhattan on 1/20/2024 and Salina - Tournament of Champions on 1/27/2024. Sheets will be hung up on the wall in the weight room. Please sign your wrestlers up on the sheets and include their current weight on the form ( I need this information to get them in the correct weight class when signing them up). Thanks :) Megan

I don't even know where to start... THANK you to everyone who helped with the Highschool tournament yesterday and the kids club tournament today!! Both days were extremely successful!! We couldn't make these tournaments happen without our parents and volunteers, and I'm extremely grateful for all of you!! It was a great weekend to be a railer!
