I AM RAIN

My Story

So I have been in music for many years now . I have owed a music college , put out my own records , produced countless records , worked with some of the best and even have my own number . But I stopped being a songwriter many years ago, life got difficult and I developed a depression to my problems, which caused me to loss interest in writing music . After 20 years of exile I decided to go again during that time I honed my production ,arranging and engineering skills as well as my playing and I decided to set my self a task . I have about 50 songs I have written over the years and I have only ever half recorded most of them properly plus I have started writing newer and more developed songs . I decided I would record all of these as a series of albums and put them out . One key part is that I have to play and sing everything as well as engineer and arrange and produce it myself . Each album has to have a theme or a purpose and with my first album there will be several themes . The first one being that I can only use the equipment I have now no outside studios . So Ive got a Mac book with protools , a set of small foster speakers , a fender guitar , a fender bass and a takamine acoustic . I have one audio technic mic worth 99 euro and thats it .

I will map out the journey as I go when I am finished I have to try find a fan base not that easy for someone just turned 50 . So it is a story that I will share with you as it unfolds .

As the page start off this is where I am at I have Five songs mixed and two ready to mix and and five in various states of record mode I am using pictures and video from my phone no fancy cameras or money behind it . not sure how the videos are going to go .

Oh yes and finally I am a little dyslexic so please excuse typos etc etc . it can be difficult .
