I have observed that the more we believe singing is "hard," the more we try control our voices, which inhibits our self-expression. I believe that our body is wise and can show us how to sing naturally and effortlessly, if only we learn to trust it. I incorporate breathwork and warmup techniques that bypass the intellect, creating an altered state that allows spontaneous singing to be possible. T

It's amazing how every single person on earth has their own truth & life purpose. If we all had the same truth, we'd all be having the same job in the same town with the same lover (that'd get complicated). Instead of getting angry at our differences, we need to embrace them. It is absolutely impossible for others to share our truth. Our lives depend on our differences.

They were always so unbelievably in sync, and in this video it's like their mouths, personalities and souls have become one. A musical marriage or conjoined twins? It's beautiful and beyond. You can tell they work so hard to evolve all the nuances.

Anatomy of the Spirit
Just watched the Rolling Stones at Hyde Park and was blown away. They are in their 70s, they started the concert at midnight, and they still managed to rock their faces off. They completely redefine aging for me. And Lisa Fisher brought tears to my eyes -- you feel nothing but love and passion from her when she sings. I remember in 20 Ft. From Stardom she mentioned something about not having the ego where she needs to be a star, and in my opinion, it is that the very absence of that ego that makes her shine like one.
Sometimes you just need to let out one loud scream from the center of your chest and the rest of your day is fine.
