I make healthy food most of the time, healthy-ish food a lot, and really unhealthy food when I feel like it.
It's been a while, but I want to share my new favorite lunch recipe! This time of year I get realllllllly bad at eating salads. Like, really bad. I can't eat something cold when I am cold. So then I end up eating junk and being too tired to focus. My current favorite thing has been these turkey taco bows. Only 529 calories and 29 grams of protein? Yes please. For about 45 minutes of work on the weekend I have lunch all week. Which is nice, because I am actually pretty lazy.

I made pumpkin peanut butter dog treats for my dogs birthday! They were a pretty big hit here!
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
2 tbs peanut butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Roll onto a lightly floured surface until 1/2 inch thick. Cut and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until hard.

1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup water
Roll to 1/4 inch and bake at 250F for 2 hours!

You know when you cook a crockpot meal and you feel SO ADULT because you come home and dinner is done and the house smells like you know what you're doing? It only happens a few times a year for me, but today was one of those days.
This slow cooker chicken chili is perfect for fall. It's warm and butternut squash-y. Did I mention it will make your house smell amazing? It also makes a generous 4 servings, so you basically don't have to do anything for two days in a row after making this.
