I'll second that shout out to middle school teachers, particularly 8th grade! I've been praised many times for an extremely high tolerance for high school nonsense but put me near those males aged 12-14 and I feel my hands curl into fists almost immediately. I think the main issue is that they think they're hilarious but they never are. Their jokes are just stupid. At least when high schoolers joke, it's usually pretty entertaining. Middle school boys seem to think that just filling a tiny, unventilated classroom full of farts is the most hilarious thing that ever happened. And it's not. It's gross.
