We facilitated a workshop on “Marketing Essentials in Construction Management “ that the participants enjoyed.

recently completed The Student Village at the Whitten Center on the campus of the . The Student Village is a gathering and meeting space for student groups on campus. The idea for the space was conceived after the tragic death of George Floyd.

In an effort to fulfill the University of Miami’s commitment to Diversity, Inclusion and Equity for its students, Messam Construction was selected to deliver a one of kind 13,000 square foot facility. Our firm takes special pride in “Bringing Designs To Life” especially when they have purposeful meaning. It is important that Black, Hispanic, Carribean, Asian Pacific, Veterans, LGBTQ, and Haitian students will have a Safe Place on campus to meet, organize, socialize, study and plan. To be entrusted the responsibility to construct this project on active campus was indeed an honor.

If you are ever on campus go to the Whitten Center and go upstairs and say hello to the amazing students at “The U”. Messam Construction salutes The Board of Trustees, President Julio Frenk, Trustee H.T. Smith for their commitment to DEI.

Messam Construction partner, Angela Messam, moderated the Women in Construction panel during The School District of Palm Beach County Office of Diversity in Business Practices Construction Summit 2023.

This event allowed us to connect with small and women owned businesses vendors and firms and we look forward to our continued relationship with the school district and our partners.

Messam Construction extends our deepest condolences to the family of Marcia Cooke, Florida’s first Black female federal judge, who died at 68. Judge Cooke gave an amazing and inspirational message to the students in the Brownsville Middle School Law Academy during the ribbon cutting ceremony. Messam Construction had the privilege of building this award winning educational facility. Judge Coke’s legacy will continue to inspire the hearts and minds of the future jurists who are in this program.
