Thanks-for my 2400 votes to win the People’s Choice Award. Today is the day! I wish all the homeless individuals and mentally ill individuals that I have helped and will help.. were able to see me compete in my new pageant system.. Win or loss. Im still a servant of God to continue my journey in life to continue giving to does in need.. Greetings from the Windy City! Chicago Sky of the WNBA, who recently got Angel Reese! Illinois is the home of Michael Jordan, President Obama, and Superman! We have the best sky scrappers. Come sightsee our downtown is amazing. The food is good and you can find all types of food, clubs and just fun things to do! Magnificent Mile you can go shopping. Buckingham Fountain it’s so pretty and lights up at night. Just romantic. Let me stop! ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter Jocelyn McGee-Alexander, She has been through so much and yet keeps moving forward! She dropped out of high school, got her GED, became a licensed hair stylist, and then ended up going to DePaul University and obtaining her master’s degree. She lost her husband to cancer a year and a half ago and is now enrolled in law school to get her Juris Doctorate degree while raising two boys. She shows me, every day, how important it is to never, ever, give up.

To me, sisterhood is not defined by words but by actions. A sister is someone who fixes your crown when you don't realize it's crooked, and who doesn’t tell everyone that she fixed it. Sisters, while from different walks of life, give words of encouragement and understanding, plus forgiveness when a simple mistake is made. But mostly, being in a sisterhood means being dependable, trustworthy, supportive, loving, and encouraging, especially on the days when you don't feel like it. Words are empty without action.

My Promise to Give is a foundation that I started in 2015, with the intentions of having an outlet to cope with the inability to truly help my son with his Mental Illinois.. My Promise to Give donates coats in the winter to Deborah’s Place which is transitional housing for homeless women. Monthly we pass out food, clothes, rat traps, and propane containers to the mentally ill homeless population that lives under viaducts (tent city) and under Lower Wacker Drive in Chicago. Through this foundation I pass out literature on mental illness and homelessness.
I am filled with a sense of purpose that is beyond me, a purpose that says I must and will continue, not just for myself, but for my son and for others who are mentally ill. (67% of homeless people currently have some form of mental illness, while 77% were found to have experienced mental illness.Imperial Nations PageantMY Promise to GIVE

Happy Mother’s Day! I was at Deborah's Place (transitional home for homeless women that have been homeless for over 5 years)stopped by to bring some Mother’s Day love gifts. Bellwood Developmental Center is a Medicaid Certified 82 Bed Intermediate Care Facility located in Bellwood, IL, with services for the elderly. I was delighted to see my Sister Queen Sonya Petty we donated MY Promise to GIVE hygiene bags for men and women. We wrote cards about kindness and gave crosswords books. Imperial Nations Pageant. We were on Chicago Ave and Hamlin. We fed the homeless and people that are struggling on hard times. It’s the best blessing to give than to receive. Imperial Nations Pageant

What a blessing to be able to feed over 120 men and women today. I had help Tri-City Inc. sent over 4 of there residents to come help me and my daughter serve the food. We served Meatloaf,BBQ fried Chicken,Mash potatoes, Green beans, Broccoli and Corn. Thanks for the Donations to all that helped make this a great evening❤️Imperial Nations Pageant

I had the honor to pass out 45 Easter Baskets this morning. Elegant Ms. Illinois Imperial Nations I was able to speak to 3-4 year olds about giving to people less fortunate than you. They asked me my name and the girls wanted to hold and touch my crown. Imperial Nations Pageant The thank you and hugs from complete strangers are the best. Bless a kid with an Easter Basket.
