Most of my music designs were made at the request of customers who were looking for a gift for someone who enjoys music. Many worship leaders have received the guitar and treble clef designs along with an added personalized message as a special gift.

Monarch butterflies are beautiful insects. I don't see them often, but when I do it's a special treat!

So much of God's creation amazes me. He is the greatest artist/creator ever!

Ahhh...Fall...

What is your favorite part of fall/autumn?

Long time no post!! Ha. I've been a little busy with things and haven't taken the time to post on Social Media for the past several months. I'm still here though! My Etsy shop is still up and running and I'm still fulfilling orders.

A little story about this NEW DESIGN. A year ago I was asked if I had a design featuring Jeremiah 17:7-8. I replied that I didn't, but I should probably create one as it was the second time I'd been asked for a design with those verses. I didn't make any promises, but added it to my long list of design ideas.

Eventually I sketched out a design and started working on it, but then the holiday rush hit and it got put on the back burner. I worked on it off and on until I took a position as my church's Children's Ministry Director earlier this year. At that point, working on new designs was put on the extreme back burner!

Last week I had a different person ask about a design featuring Jeremiah 17:7-8. It was the kick in the pants that I needed to add the finishing touches to the design and spend a little time getting it listed and ready to purchase. So, here it is!

Jeremiah 17:7-8, "Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. Remember the verses in Matthew 6 that talk about God taking care of the birds, so we shouldn't worry? They were the inspiration for the creation of this design. Along with the verses in Matthew 6, these verses in Philippians 4 are such a great reminder to us to give our worries to God. Instead of our thoughts being filled with all that is going on in the world and the anxiety that it causes, we should instead think about the "whatevers." God is in control...always...no matter what we see and hear going on around us. Let's keep our eyes on Him!

I have one son who is currently running for middle school track and my younger two sons are part of a track club. Needless to say, running is filling a lot of our time...well, their time, not mine...I don't run...except to "run" them from one place to the next. 😂 I am constantly amazed at the kids who are the distance runners...the ones like my middle schooler who run a 3200meter race and then turn around and run a 1600meter race. You can see the weariness creep in, but there are those who have trained hard and can push past the weariness to finish strong.

We're all running a race of sorts just by living. When you begin to get weary, where do you get the strength to continue on? Isaiah 40:28 says that the Lord "will not grow tired or weary." He will give us the strength to continue if we rely on Him for it!
