Tomorrow is our Trauma Rescue class hosted by Templar Ordnance. We have a few open spots, and would love to get those filled!
This course focuses on: the immediate response to
bleeding, recognizing life-threatening bleeding and
appropriate ways to stop bleeding. (Think gunshot wounds).
The class is at 10:00am and is only $20. Approximately 2 hours long and is HANDS ON. We have to limit this class size to maximize your learning time, so 20 people is max.

Trauma Rescue Training is now offering “SAVE YOUR OWN” Self-Aid/Buddy-Aid medical training that is focused for law enforcement agencies. This is the training every officer needs to be able to take care of themselves or another officer if they are wounded in the line of duty.
This course was designed for the non-medical law enforcement, security and law enforcement administration.
When an officer is wounded, Fire/EMS agencies will stage offsite until the scene is secure. By utilizing the Save Your Own training, patrol officers and tactical operators can significantly reduce the mortality of treatable injuries. Our lead instructor, Todd Jamison has been teaching this course for two years and has some great reviews on his methods of teaching. References available upon request.
Core Competencies:
Hemorrhage Control, Basic Airway Management, Treatment of Chest Wounds, Casualty Evacuation and Movement.
Skill Sessions:
Skills Sessions will be with Tourniquets, Quick Clot, Pressure bandages, Wound packing and Chest seals.

Motivated by the multiple tragedies that have occurred nationwide, Trauma Rescue Training provides average people the skills necessary to stop the bleed before fire responders are on scene.
Civilians need basic training in bleeding control principles so they are able to provide immediate, frontline aid until first responders are able to take over care of an injured person. Due to many situations, there may be a delay between the time of injury and the time a first responder is on the scene. Without civilian intervention in these circumstances, preventable deaths will occur. Are you prepared?
