I had a set a goal for myself to hit 300 pounds for hip thrusts by the end of the year.
Just one. A single PR.
And I C R U S H E D it!!
310 pounds, of a not so clean looking thrust 🤪.
And went in and put it up a second time.
Setting goals for yourself is great for measuring progress.
I still remember when pushing 45’s was hard!
We all start somewhere.
What are you going to push for/crush?! There’s 38 days left in 2021… Let’s smash it out of the park!
Do you look up to people?! Or admire them?! 😍🤩
Of course you do, I’m pretty sure every person does, it’s completely normal.
But what if we turned that admiration to ourselves?! 😮💨

It’s all well and good to look at others and be like “yeah s**t, I want that, I can do that!” But then the energy we’re harnessing is to being like someone that we’re not.
I’ll never be buddha, and have that kind of intrinsic peace and love ☮️.
I’m too stubborn and easily distracted.
So, why don’t we turn that awe into ourselves, into growth and how we can be and do better tomorrow.

In fact, they’re so normal it’s actually because of your skeletal structure.
Some are more defined then others depending on where your hips lie.
I didn’t even realize this was a thing until I started seeing videos about it and people wanting to “fix” them.
