🇱🇻 The coordinator’s meeting just took place in Stameriena, Latvia - Gulbenes novads !
🔗 Representatives of all the partner organizations of our long-term project ESCAPE EXCLUSION were:
✅ looking back at things that have been done so far;
✅ stucturing the next steps for further project activities;
✅ testing the fruits of labor - various escape adventures designed during all the project timeline.

🔐 An escape box - the final product made by partner Colegio La Milagrosa y Santa Florentina (LMSF) - with focus on the inclusion of different groups.
🖇 The LMSF Vocational Training students experienced the latest version of this escape box - by using different skills through this escape adventure and working as a team.
🔐 They have been a key piece for this project to move forward, and thanks to their feedback we have been able to complete this stage successfully.

🔐 One more escape adventure - "A gift to Francesca" - has been developed for our project “Escape Exclusion” by the team members of Gulbene regional high school.
🖇 How easy or difficult is it to accept yourself? A person is overwhelmed by many different emotions in self-evaluation.
"These can be irritation, helplessness, anger, disgust, shame, guilt and despair." says psychologist Annika Niedrite.
⚖️ This escape adventure is about self-exceptance - the way to find out things and discuss such an important and delicate topic through tasks and riddles.

Last day of “The New World” - te day when conclusions and next steps were made. The important discussions where about escape adventures, their strengths and weekneses in the “corners” of education, inclusion and how "escapish" our formats are so far. Also discussing about needs of our target groups and inclusion topics on which we will create our next escape modules.
The great job has been done and goodbyes can be told.

During the second day of seminar in Spain we finished testing Escape Adventures among participating organizations. Afterwords did a conclusion of feedbacks with aim to improve the games in upciming period.

This day was opened with inviting orienteering game in the village of Olmedo, Spain.
In next steps it was important to discuss our experiences with Escape adventure creation processes and the actual educational Escape adventure ingrediants.
And still the most exciting part of the day was trying out different Escape modules, that have been done so far by each Escape Exclusion project partner..2 more days for this adventure ahead..

🔹 Teachers of Gulbene Secondary School have started testing various unusual inclusive education methods, which are based on the principles of the “Escape Room” game.
🔹 Teachers have created a board game "Escape" puzzles for 3rd-5th grade students. The game consists of 6 different puzzles on the topic "Forest" and is designed to improve cooperation skills and unite the class.
🔹 Each group has different tasks, but the unifying element is a magic number that must be determined, so that the class can decrypt the safe door code and successfully "Escape".
🔹 Putting together a puzzle is a good way to learn collaboration skills. You can create a puzzle in any subject. You can change the tasks and adapt them to the needs of each class. It is certainly a method that is in line with the basic principles of inclusive education.
