Cherry Colored Twist

Hello it is June again. As usual, 50% of rainbow craft lot sales will be donated to LGBTQ+ advocacy and aid groups. 2023 donations will be made to the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund. Buying a lot of 50 colorful vintage buttons with a plethora of uses means a $5 donation. A lot of 100 means I will donate $9. Not interested in buttons? *gasp, cry* Consider just making a donation yourself to the TLDF, or any one of many other organizations working to defend the basic human rights of q***r and trans folks, which are being threatened, impugned, and revoked across the country.

This year’s Thanksgiving button is cranberry glass with incised and gold painted flowers. Tart-sweet feelings as I give thanks for food to eat and loved ones to eat it with, while my heart breaks for the families that will have an empty seat at the table this year. If you have a few dollars to spare, consider supporting the families affected by the recent shootings in Colorado Springs, CO and Chesapeake, VA.

Folks, its hard to believe that summer is coming to a close and Labor Day Weekend is almost upon us.
