First... thx Mary for your hard work. Second... so great to see everyone. I checked my phone and I only took one picture... too busy talking, laughing and an adult beverage or two.. Great fun.

From Tom Gaughran:

Sue and I have been reluctant to put this on FB because of all the scammers and riff raff out there. But we do also believe in the power of prayer. So I post this not looking for pity but for prayers from our FB friends and family. My wife Sue for sometime has had a cough that we attributed to chronic bronchitis. The later half of 2021 she was seeing the Dr about it. She believed that it was adult onset asthma. But at 3 AM on Dec 29th Sue woke up and felt that her throat was swollen and was having difficulty breathing. So we went to the ER. Now if may recall that was in the middle of a Covid surge. That whole experience is a story in of itself. But by that evening she was able to be examined by a DR. After tests and exams they found a mass on Sue’s lung that was also wrapped around her trachea. Over the next several days and weeks and several more scans and tests, it was determined that Sue has stage 4 lung cancer. Since then she has been undergoing chemotherapy every 3 weeks. She has been a real fighter through this. Some days the nausea and vomiting seem to be too much for her, but she keeps on battling. With each treatment it seems to get a little worse. Tomorrow is her 4th chemotherapy treatment. Then in 2 weeks is another scan that we are praying will show progress on the tumor on her lung and the lesions on her skeleton. This will determine where her treatment will go. Her DR is hoping to be able to move to immune therapy which should be just as effective but much less taxing on Sue. Through all of this our daughters and their families have been amazing. As well as our close, friends, families and coworkers have all been incredibly helpful and supportive. As Sue says we are not looking for pity. We had our “pity party” when we first found out it was stage 4 cancer. Now she is determined and is fighting the fight. What we would like from everyone, is your prayers. We both believe in the power of prayer. With everyone’s prayers she can either beat this or at least stop and reverse the cancer’s grip on her. So please during this Easter season and beyond, please include Sue in your prayers. I thank you with all my heart. When appropriate I will give additional updates on how Sue is doing.
