White Clouds Music House Concert Series began in the fall of 2009 as a way to welcome friends and family to our new home. With a love of both new music and a beautiful place to listen to it, the idea caught on and we began our journey of hosting house concerts. We have a seating capacity of 50. We sit atop one of the highest points in Southern Ontario so we have a wonderful view of Lake Ontario an

Whiteclouds is excited to present Jim White, all the way up from Georgia......
Jim White was first discovered when he crossed paths with David Byrne of Talking Heads. When he’s not releasing his own critically acclaimed solo albums he splits time producing records for other artists, exhibiting his visual art in galleries and museums across the US and Europe and publishing award winning fiction.
Numerous songs from White’s back catalog have appeared in film and television, with his Primus-esque Word-Mule being featured in the Heisenberg Episode of Breaking Bad, while more recently Jim’s dreamy duet with Aimee Mann, Static on the Radio, graced the closing credits of the feature film El Camino.
Americana music fans may recognize White as the narrator and defacto tour guide for the award winning BBC documentary, Searching for the Wrong Eyed Jesus. Released in 2003, the film has attained cult status among southern gothic fans far and wide.
White was a pro surfer. He served as literary commentator for the National Endowment of the Arts. He was a European fashion model. He once nearly got in a fist fight with Ellen Degeneres. There’s lots more non linear information that doesn’t really fit the usual bio format. But that’s Jim—he gets around.

Deb Talan met up with Steve Tannen and formed The Weepies . Five records, shows all over the world, 47 million listeners on Spotify, songs placed in loads of movies and tv shows, 3 kids, breast cancer, divorce from Steve and mental health issues later, Deb produced a solo record titled ‘Lucky Girl’. She has lots she could say but prefers to listen. But playing songs is a close second. Music heals, songs can be prayers. Deb Talan is some lovely damn proof of that!

Wow, what a night! Thanks to Ryan Lindsay sponsored by Peavey Mart for bringing his amazing talent to the hills of Uxbridge at the Trail Hub on Saturday night. With Vintage Boring warming us up with their Indie sound and Ryan taking us through the night with his amazing country folk rock, it was a great foot stomping, dancing evening! Thank you to Peavey Mart for sponsoring Ryan and to all who came out to raise just over $10,000.00 for Uxbridge Tornado Relief.
