Akwete clothing
Akwete cloth is traditionally woven by women and originates in the town of Akwete in Abia State in
Southeastern Nigeria (Igboland) and dates back to 1485. The traditional Igbo cloth is spun on a vertical loom and is usually made from sisal h**p (used to weave towels, ropes and handbags), coarse raffia (used by masquerades and in the past for headgear
for warriors among other uses), and cotton or rayon silk primarily worn by women as wraps, as part of a wedding dowry, as well as decor for royal burial sites. Everyday uses range from dresses, wraps to decor, and bedspreads. It features motifs and patterns with a variety of meanings and can signify wealth or power.

Jesus said "give to Caeser what belongs to Caeser and give to God what belongs to God.
It's imprudent on your side for you to value the traditions of a white man in the name of church over yours; it's shows you have identify crises.

In Igbo culture, the act of giving chicken gizzard to one's husband is not merely about the gizzard itself but a profound symbol of respect and care. Igbo born philanthropist and humanitaria, Okwulora Ndi Igbo met veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu at a recent function and gave him #500,000 as a seed. The veteran actor was so excited that he almost knelt down in appreciation but Okwulora hurriedly stopped him from kneeling, instead he knelt to receive prayers and good wishes from the actor.
