I love to improvise but have not been doing a lot of it lately. So, I have decided to, from time to time, record a free improve session. My only frame work was setting the harp in a min. I like to start simple and then expand the idea, let new ideas come to me and go for them in the moment. It also helps loosen up my composer self. Margaret Hoberg (1890-1948) was an American composer, organist, and philanthropist who studied at the McDowell Colony (1916) and in New York and Paris. She left us a few works for the harp including a concerto and the collection of character pieces that this piece, Clouds, is from. (Wikipedia) Does anyone listening know more about Hoberg?
