One of our favorite elements in this space - the ceiling - it’s covered in a grass paper we cut into squares and rotated giving a subtle checkerboard effect & another layer of texture. Loved revisiting the install photos of this Lower East Side residence. Installed one year ago - sometimes it takes that long for me to look back and be proud of my work / a project. At the time of install - all I see are the imperfections. The things that went wrong. The missing coffee table or the “place holder” ceiling light. I didn’t even notice that it was and still is the perfect home for the client. That is why I am in design. To help my clients create an environment tailored to their needs and taste. This is the best part of interior design. Having a client walk in their home and say “this is me & I didn’t know I looked this good”
