In May 2023 my brain stopped. So I embarked on a quest for a new me! I put down my brush, moved to the beach, broke my hip playing pickle ball and became sedentary. Definitely not what I was looking for! The only thing new was a shiny new titanium hip! I’m thankful for new parts and doctors who can install them. I’m thankful for crutches, rollie chairs, and canes. I’m thankful for the months of silence in my mind and my new puppy named Penny who kept me company. I think my mind is finally starting to think PAINTING instead of PAIN. So, in addition to creating a new backyard oasis, my kitchen counters are calling for canvas. Let’s see how it goes! Let the fun begin! It’s all about the joy.
