2-Year Amnesty on Property Tax Penalties
The Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA), also known as Republic Act No. 12001, aims to create a uniform system for valuing real estate across the Philippines. To promote paying property taxes on time, the law offers a two-year amnesty on penalties and interest for those with unpaid taxes.
