We are a classic rock band that enjoys playing your favorite tunes from the 50's, 60's, and 70's!
The Fifties and Sixties might be a thing of the past, but the pop and rock music that was so much a part of the American culture then remains popular today with people of all age groups. Not only do Baby Boomers continue to rock out to this music that they grew up hearing, but younger people have also come to enjoy the sounds of classic rock and roll. Bellmead Burgers and Brews to return Saturday The Bellmead Burgers and Brews festival is returning Saturday for a jam-packed third year of music, food and family fun.

We'd like to invite everyone out to the Bellmead Burgers and Brews Festival on Saturday November 4th. It will be in Lions Park in Bellmead and will feature free carnival rides, a beer garden, food and craft vendors, as well as live music starting at 1pm. The Morticians are scheduled to take the stage from 4:30 to 5:30 so don't miss the fun this weekend.... we hope to see you there!!!

We will be at Vanguard Prep School (2517 Mt. Carmel Dr - Waco) on Saturday October 14th from 2 - 4pm for the Mountainview Neighborhood Association's Fall into Fall Festival. Admission is free and there will be kid's activities, food, and oldies music.

You're invited to a free car show, concert, and cookout on Saturday April 22nd at the Heartis Senior Living Center on Speegleville Road. We'll be playing from 11am to 1pm. There will be vintage vehicles from the Heart of Texas Old Car Club available for viewing and food. Donations will benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The Morticians will be appearing at the Marlin Country Club on Saturday, April 15th from 5 to 7pm regarding a fundraiser for mayoral candidate Susan Byrd. (Another group, Trebel Soul, will be performing at 3pm). We look forward to being there and hope you can join us for this fun event. See you there!!!
We wanted to let you know that the Valentine’s Dance scheduled for this Saturday February 11th at the Palladium has been POSTPONED.
Our lead singer Alan Smith tested positive for Covid last Friday, and he has basically had laryngitis symptoms this past weekend. The good news is he seems to be improving and will hopefully recover soon.
Van Davis, the event host, is working to reschedule and should have further information soon.

Fire & Ice is Hillsboro's hottest event each winter and in 2023 it will be held in the romantic Rusted Chandelier at 65 W Franklin St on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
The 7th Annual Fire & Ice provides Central Texans with a first class dinner, catered this year by Hillsboro's own R&K Cafe.
Participants may also reserve a whiskey tasting provided by Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co., famous for their TX Whiskey and TX Bourbon (made with corn and wheat sourced in Hillsboro at Sawyer Farms). The cost is included in your ticket price, but please be sure to reserve your spot when purchasing your tickets.
Following the dessert course, The Morticians will take the stage and the dance floor will open for participants to enjoy a delightful evening with that special someone.
Tickets are $50 per person and include everything listed. Doors open at 7pm and concert will conclude around 11pm.
Participants may bring their own wine (don't forget the bottle opener) but all other alcohol is prohibited.
