Beach Soccer is an exciting new form of beach soccer that has been specially created for Australia by former Socceroo and SBS TV Presenter David Zdrilic. Beach Soccer is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It keeps the best parts of traditional football, then adds some breath-taking skills and stunning locations that take it to a whole new
level. The result is a super enjoyable, competitive sport that’s played on many of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Since launching in Brazil more than a decade ago, beach soccer is now played in more than 75 countries worldwide. It’s easy to play, it’s open to everyone, it’s great for fitness – and, most importantly, it’s lots of fun! The tournament will be open to all ages and skill levels, and lots of your favourite soccer celebrities – including former Socceroos Steve Corica, Jason Culina, David Zdrilic plus Hollywood actor and football nut Anthony La Paglia – will be out on the sand.
