Happy almost Merry Christmas 🎄
❤️❤️❤️
This, except wisteria vines. Those purple ombré blooms are so dreamy.
Plus, Japanese beetles have ruined my relationship with roses. 🪲
This! Romance, vampires, self-help, or dystopian… read whatever you want, and encourage others to do the same.
All about the soups!
What are your favorites?
Just for some perspective 🫤
I feel like I’m losing my accent to the Midwest. It makes me sad.
A little book aesthetic for a fall morning.
Into the Dark releases winter 2023.
As the weather turns cooler, I feel like this is important information to have 🍷
The accuracy 🎯
One of my favorite TERMS reviews 🥰
My daughter has a new puppy, and Maggie is getting her steps in.
Tomorrow is a new day 🙏
Imposter Syndrome is REAL! I wonder if all of the “greats” ever wondered if they’d ever be great?
I love, love hearing from readers. This totally makes my day 🥰
Since people have asked what my next book is about.
It’s like an Appalachian Crawdads. ⛰
KIRKUS is a continuous leader in publishing, and they can be brutally honest in their book reviews. Many an author has certainly felt their soul snatched from a tough KIRKUS review.
I held my breath while reading the one for TERMS, and then it got better than I could have imagined. 🥰
This will forever be my favorite KAREN meme.
It’s been a tough couple of years for us KarYn’s. I started introducing myself as, fun Karyn, just to set the record straight upfront. At restaurants, I give the name, Ashland. It’s just easier.
Hug your favorite KarYn today!
The kiss of death is right before falling asleep. “That’s so good, I’ll definitely remember it in the morning.”
**She DOES NOT remember it in the morning 😣
I would love, love to reach 100 reviews.
When authors have a certain number of reviews, Amazon will add your book to emails like, “since you bought this book, you might like this book.”
Like a quest, the more reviews you have (even bad ones), the more Amazon levels are unlocked for an author.
Grateful for every one of these! Thank you!
It’s sometimes shocking when I see how I really look outside of my home 😱
I don’t know if I’ll ever understand book marketing.
My first book, The Achilles Heel, I just threw out there to see if anyone would read it.
My last book, Terms of Surrender, I spent countless hours writing, marketing, & blogging. It’s the book I’m the most proud of, and the one that got stellar reviews from literary magazines.
The only thing that’s clear is that I love writing stories. I guess I’ll just keep doing that.
Okay, but this 😕
Feels 🥰
Why was this me last night? 🥴
Who has read any of these books? 📚
Likes? Dislikes?
This is the core of any business.
I’m so grateful for all my readers, especially the ones who always ask when the next book is coming out.
Thank you! 🥰
Unfortunately, this can be true sometimes.

In my best TikTok voice… “Prepare to be sick of me.” 📚
Thank you for all the follows!
It’s very difficult for an indie author to be seen, or for an indie book to gain traction, so I’m grateful for the support.
Into the Dark book cover is coming soon, and I can’t wait to share it with y’all. 🏔
