Guys... I almost lost my s**t yesterday. ALMOST.

Instead I hid in my bedroom in the far corner so you couldn’t see me from the door , grabbed Vetiver and waited while it took forever to drop into my hand, took 5 deep inhales, rubbed it all over my neck and chest, set the timer on my phone for 5mins, shut my eyes AND. REMAINED. STILL!

Best thing ever, do not regret, was not disturbed and I felt woke as s**t and zen as f**k.

Soooo the transition of Mitch being home for two weeks and then him going back to work has been BRUTAL. I’m STILL struggling to work my s**t out, the kids are begging him to stay home, there is more fighting and our routines are all out of whack.

And now I’ve spent WAY too much time in limbo. “Should I do some work?”, “Should I be present with the kids?”, “should I clean up?”... and I end up doing a lot of little things and not much of anything....

On top of that, I haven’t been using my oils anywhere near as much as I should and I’m feeling like I have no direction.
...soooo I’m going to get my life back on track and start by increasing my daily habits with my oils and I figure I’ll show you a long the way 💁‍♀️

Big Hair, Don’t Care!

So we totally have a DIY detangling spray going in this house🧐

You’ll need:
30ml glass spray bottle
Distilled/filtered water
Sq**rt of fractionated coconut oil
Sq**rt of witch hazel
5 drops Lavender
5 drops Cedarwood (replace with 10 tea tree if you want to make it a Nit preventative)
5 drops Rosemary

Mix all ingredients together.

Shake before spraying

Spray hair to help ease out the knots and tangles

If you are using it as a Nit preventative spray daily, including school bag and school hat.

Other oils to try: clary sage, patchouli, or a sq**rt of doTERRA Hair Conditioner

Me and Cedarwood go way back. I got Cedarwood on the Loyalty Rewards Program the month after I got started with the Home Essentials kit.

It’s a fantastic skin oil, great for supporting healthy hair and growth, one of my favourite sleep oils and incredible for grounding and focus.

Today they came home from pre-school tired, irritable, hungry. They fought in the car, they fought over who would get out of the car first, they begged me to carry them upstairs and cried when I could only carry one of them at a time. They argued over what they would have for afternoon snacks, would they get vegemite worms or popcorn? They cried when they tried to play keep-it-uppy but the ballon kept touching the floor.

So here is what I did: I hid in the pantry.

Here is what I really did: I popped the diffuser on. I diffused 2 drops Lavender Peace, 2 drops Balance and 1 drop Frankincense.

I hovered near the diffuser so that I could get maximum wiffage and then we got on with the afternoon.

One of the easiest ways to get the benefits of your essential oils is to diffuse them. When you diffuse essential oils not only are you getting the aromatic benefits but everyone else in the room is too. It’s also cleansing the air, deodorising AND it’s always makes me feel smug as f*ck when someone walks through door and says ‘oooh it smells amazing in here’.
