Great shoot with during the Tell Your Story Festival in Banbury to promote all their good work

Always a pleasure to work with UK Atomic Energy Authority - today celebrating the Joint European Torus (JET) experiment turning 40 😎

That’s a wrap on our most exciting fiction project so far - a short thriller starring the hugely talented Craig Conway and Phil Harker.

With independent filmmaking, the rule is that failing to plan means planning to fail. Despite its micro-budget, our film had numerous tricky elements to get right - night shoots, dramatic lighting, specific props, extras, stunts, VFX plates, practical effects and matching our studio set to location scenes we had filmed over a year earlier.

But thanks to teamwork, careful planning and most of all a detailed shot list, we worked incredibly fast and got our very ambitious 15-page script shot in just three days.

Another bonus was making a ‘pre-viz’ temporary edit using rehearsal footage of our actors, so we knew exactly what action we would need to get covered in advance, and what the pacing of those scenes should be like.

Huge thanks to our hard-working team for making it such an an amazingly slick, relaxed and fun shoot. Editing is underway and it already looks and sounds amazing. We hope to have the finished film ready for festivals by the Autumn. Big thanks again to all who have helped us get it made.
