Muros En Blanco Distrito de Arte
Muros En Blanco Distrito Arte
Street Art in San Miguel de Allende...since 2013.
Come along with me through the numerous barrios outside El Centro for a 10+year history of San Miguel's Street Art movement.
The Muros en Blanco project 2012-2020 ended with covid, and other things.
An end of an era that, in 2013, secured the permission for legal painting on the streets with the first Muros en Blanco Street Art festival and continued through the years with local, national and visiting international street artists. What a wonderful adventure it has been. ❤️
Now, the street art is found in nearly every barrio outside El Centro, each barrio with a project name and coordinated by the local artists.
Since 2012, I've been documenting the many evolving aspects of San Miguel's street art movement.
Come along with me on a private morning drive through numerous barrios outside El Centro for a 10+year history of San Miguel's street art movement - murals, artists, projects, changing neighborhoods, back stories since the beginning when the permission was secured.
Perfect for those unable to hike all the hills and cobblestones!
10:00 Pick-up at a convenient location. Drop-off most often at a chosen restaurant for lunch, makes for a very nice day.
Always with a cooler full of cold drinking waters.
Approx 3.5 hours, 1-3 passengers (sometimes 4), 2000 pesos per drive (not per person).
Also, I host educational groups interested in street art projects.
