This young athlete truly impressed us at the 3rd Annual Andrew Billings Football Camp. He was a phenomenal listener, gave his absolute best effort, and kept a positive attitude all day long. Way to go! 👏

In March, Andrew had the honor of being the Keynote Speaker at the 2024 Men’s Empowerment Summit! He shared about his journey to success and the three keys that have helped him along the way - commitment, attitude, and perseverance. Each young man also received their own tie!

Andrew Billings returned to his hometown of Waco, TX for the 3rd Annual Andrew Billings Football Camp, held at his high school field - Waco ISD Stadium.

We are thrilled to share our newest community partner for the Bikes & Books initiative: Dr Pepper Museum

Mr. Chris Dyer, President & CEO of the Dr Pepper Museum, and his team joined us at J.H. Hines Elementary School and Provident Heights Elementary to treat every student to Dr Pepper Floats!

It was heartwarming to see the joy on the students' faces as they enjoyed their floats.

Thank you, Dr Pepper Museum, for partnering with our foundation to inspire students to strive for perfect attendance!

The next stop for our Bikes & Books initiative was at Provident Heights Elementary! 🚲 📚

12 more students (two students in each grade: K-5) were awarded bikes for their commitment to attending school. The Panthers at Provident Heights also got Andrew to play a game with them called fancy pants. 😁

HUGE SHOUTOUT to Shane Howard at Bikesmith Waco for donating his time and service to assemble all of the bikes for us!!! 💚

Thank you to the other special guests that were in the house: Waco High football players, Waco High head football coach - Coach Heldt, Waco ISD Athletic Director - Coach Love, Waco ISD board members, and a special community partner - Rodney Clark!

Spreading joy and encouragement at our Bikes & Books initiative at J.H. Hines Elementary School! 🚲📚

Students who had perfect attendance (defined as missing 2 days or less) were entered into a drawing to win a bike. 12 lucky winners claimed their bikes, thanks to their dedication.

Dr. Wise, J.H. Hines Elementary Principal, also awarded Andrew an honorary Doctorate for his consistent generosity towards Waco’s youth. The Bears at J.H. Hines will refer to him as Dr. Billings from now on! 😀

Chicago Bears DE Andrew Billings, a Waco native, wore customized cleats in honor of foundation that helps Waco ISD The 2013 Waco High graduate participated in the My Cause My Cleats initiative with the NFL.

Andrew is raising awareness for us (The Billings Family Find-A-Way Foundaton) for this year’s My Cause My Cleats! 💚💛

The cleats feature our Bikes & Books: Riding for Perfect Attendance initiative. 🚲📕💯

The Billings Family Find-A-Way Foundation is a proud partner of the American Lung Association in Texas (ALA)!

Andrew is also an ALA Texas Ambassador. As a child, he attended an ALA sponsored camp, Camp Broncho, where he learned the importance of how to manage his asthma. He is now an advocate for lung heath.

Each year his friends and family join together in support of the ALA at the Fight for Air Climb in Texas. Check out the teams that have participated in the last few events!

Our foundation's Bikes & Books: Riding for Perfect Attendance initiative promotes perfect attendance among K-5 elementary school students in Waco ISD.

At the end of the 2nd, 4th, and 6th six-week grading periods, two students with less than two days of missed school from each grade level are placed in a drawing. Winners receive a bike and books for all their hard work.

In its first year (last school year), this initiative awarded bikes, helmets and books to 72 students at J.H. Hines Elementary School and Provident Heights Elementary. In addition, each school received $1,000 to purchase books.

Last Wednesday, National Philanthropy Day, the Billings Family Find-A-Way Foundation was recognized as the 2023 Outstanding Foundation Award recipient by The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Central Texas Chapter!

Andrew’s mother attended the ceremony to graciously accept the award accompanied by community partners, friends, and family.

Thank you to the dedicated individuals and companies who are involved with our foundation to help empower the youth in our community. We couldn’t do it without your unwavering commitment and support. 💚

AFP hosts National Philanthropy Day, an annual awards program, to recognize outstanding philanthropic achievement by individuals and organizations in the Central Texas Community.

Waco-native and Chicago Bear Andrew Billings established the Billings Family Find-A-Way Foundation to provide resources, support, and solutions to improve communities. The Foundation has focused their local impact on the students of Waco ISD to support their bright futures and encourage them to stay in school. In partnership with local businesses, the Foundation has given back and rewarded over 60 students for having perfect attendance.
